It is an historical evocation of medieval times, during which the six quarters of Borno will compete in ability games and daring tests to win the tournament and conquer the desired banner. Piazza Umberto I and the main streets of Borno will become game fields from the 12th-13th century, while the inhabitants of the quarters wear typical costumes; shows, parades, music and the banquet in the main square will complete the event bringing everyone back in time. The Tournament of S.Martino, organised by the Associazione Sei Contrade with the Confraternita del Cervo (Brotherhood of the Deer), the City Hall and the Tourist Office of Borno takes place in the third weekend of July.
